When choosing a small sofa bed, make sure it has a compact design that will fit your space – both folded and unfolded. Opt for models with easy-to-use conversion mechanisms, ideally unfolding or pulling out in just a step or two.

Prioritise comfort with quality cushions and mattresses, such as hybrid or high-density foam, and ensure durability with sturdy construction and hard-wearing fabrics.

It will depend on the brand of sofa but to convert a small Ecosa sofa (or armchair) into a bed, remove any decorative cushions, then pull/fold out the mattress from the top. Easy-peasy!
